...a beautiful, tired site surrounded by native trees - it was a natural decision to design a community that drew from, and became part of that environment.

Living among the trees

Cascade Gardens is a collection of 98 residential units and a neighbourhood shop spread across three low-rise buildings on a sloping site adjacent to Pymble town centre.

Our design celebrates the natural setting of the site which is surrounded by established native trees.

So we designed Cascade Gardens with the theme of ‘Living Among The Trees”.

It has a landscaped approach with tiered gardens following the slope of the site to encourage smaller common resident areas and take advantage of the elevation position to enjoy the long district views.

The apartments have been designed to ensure an exceptional lifestyle for owners, with a balance of views and privacy, solar access and natural cross ventilation with access to both private and public open spaces.

We incorporated a palette range drawn from natural materials including sandstone with more contemporary contrasting anodised aluminium screening for a contemporary aesthetic.
